We would like to update you on a significant change related to the supported operating systems that is coming with the next major orcad, allegro, and Sigrity release in 2015. We know that 2015 seems a long way off, but this information is important as it may require an OS upgrade and possibly planning with your IT organization.
) m' l) U2 ]% u& V5 }" V n& j$ p1 H; WStarting with the 17.0 release, all OrCAD, Allegro, and Sigrity products will only function on 64-bit operating systems.
' i6 ]# h$ L, A5 ?The only operating systems that will be supported with 17.0 release are:- P `9 Y7 r2 O* [5 U# G; j
• Windows 7 64-bit
" X5 v. W; A+ X' [7 N( I* I1 [, x• Windows 8 64-bit
5 ]" l0 v9 a( \3 ~• Redhat Linux 64-bit (Allegro PCB Editor, PCB Router, PCB SI and Sigrity only)4 d' M p$ k& z. v
• Susie Linux 64-bit (Allegro PCB Editor, PCB Router, PCB SI and Sigrity only): T7 B! [1 Y ~5 `$ ^
Please note that Windows XP 64-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit will NOT supported. Also note that the 17.0 release will NOT install on a 32-bit operating system.

• Large area fills and regeneration
