- N2 f. [2 Y3 y0 S% HWe would like to update you on a significant change related to the supported operating systems that is coming with the next major orcad, allegro, and Sigrity release in 2015. We know that 2015 seems a long way off, but this information is important as it may require an OS upgrade and possibly planning with your IT organization.3 U8 Q; R) E; r* m- c+ S4 ^
Starting with the 17.0 release, all OrCAD, Allegro, and Sigrity products will only function on 64-bit operating systems.
3 ?+ |2 P. N* y% A/ x& WThe only operating systems that will be supported with 17.0 release are:
) p5 `7 A1 W8 t: z/ G2 v! Q• Windows 7 64-bit
! F" @+ n+ ]8 C2 L• Windows 8 64-bit
. O( \. _! D e5 y/ ]5 B1 h• Redhat Linux 64-bit (Allegro PCB Editor, PCB Router, PCB SI and Sigrity only)
. M6 B- ^6 D1 B• Susie Linux 64-bit (Allegro PCB Editor, PCB Router, PCB SI and Sigrity only)
