There are 2 main rules you have to take care of: Electrical Rules and Routing Rules.& _2 t" ~; K( U5 k' [0 H
Most important rule in Electrical rules is Clearance, it means the distance of space between two object. These space depend on voltage level (high voltage level => larger space), PCB manufacture capacity (typical minimum space is 4mils), for high speed interface you have to maintain 3W (3 times trace witdh) or 5W (recommend) to reduce crosstalk.

Most important rule in Routing rules is Trace Width, it's mainly depend on current flows in traces. You can use some PCB Toolkit to estimate trace width (I'm using Saturn PCB Toolkit, it's free). Also depend on PCB manufacture capacity (4mils), m6 v4 s7 a; c8 \5 w
For vias, large via => more current flow. I often set Minimum via size is 8mils for hole and 15 mils for Pads. |
