1. Install the license server

0 C2 c r8 b8 X) v4 P& i+ \. n3. Create an environment variable with the value CDS_LIC_FILE this_host @ 5280. this_host replaced by the name of your machine (My computer-> properties-> advanced-> enviromnent variables); l: ?2 C, d# N
4. Edit the first line in the file license163.lic - replace this_host the real name of your computer9 W3 Y/ R; Y) X/ X4 N' k' P
5. LicenseServerConfiguration.exe run from your license manager (LicenseManager)& U; |. S- v/ L6 c
6. In the Select license, select the edited file license163.lic
; c$ \" I) [/ z2 g `7. Click Next
/ ~* ]$ {1 X* Z8. In the editing window, check the Port number 5280
z9 W. X! D ]5 @) b9 N9. In the editing window Host Name check your machine's hostname (computer name)

14. Set Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3
