Supplement – Bypassing the T and U-axis motor brake
. p/ o+ p8 n8 n/ p- b7 F/ QThe T and U-axis both have a motor brake to prevent them moving when the servo power is OFF. When adjusting the MTU-A it is sometimes necessary to bypass the brake in order to manually move the axes. The procedure for bypassing the brake is given below.
' `% n+ B( }4 d  P$ G$ H/ lWarning! The T-axis will drop down very fast if the 200V servo power is ON when the jumper connector is connected and then the servo power is turned OFF. Always press the EMERGENCY STOP button to cut the 200V servo power before connecting the jumper connector.
