Purpose

Operation The squeegee drive motors move the front and rear squeegee mounts to the required positions.3 a( z: p/ }: \: M; a
The printhead pressure system is the mechanism which drives the two squeegees independently down onto the screen and applies the pressure necessary to print.0 S" D! L2 V* f# _# a
The pressure being applied during print is monitored by the pressure amplifier,and if necessary, corrections to pressure is made as part of a closed loop process. The load cell and pressure amplifier give a change in output voltage proportional to the pressure applied by the squeegees.8 I, G" g( m4 P: o& D1 `% A) ~) V0 U, v- Y
The pre-load set screw and main compression spring are used to calibrate the load cell/squeegee pressure.
H% G) I* d$ t" ^6 P+ VThe home sensors, sited in the printhead mechanism, detect when the front and rear squeegee mounts are at the top of their travel.
