symbols of all the devices in the library.

2. Orcad Capture/
Pspice A/D compatible spice subcircuit files for all the devices in the symbol library.

For each device there will be a separate subcircuit file named after the device part number

1 p2 k9 Z' Z- d z& P Q! J2. COMPARATORS.olb symbol library file is like any other Orcad Capture library
; ?5 `8 x! h1 X file which can be edited by opening it in Orcad Capture from menu File->Open->Library. 3 J% v3 _# z5 J

3. Symbols in the library can be used to draw circuit schematic in Orcad Capture environment.
$ j9 S" | C* I( E5 _( S& z To use symbols in the symbol library use menu Place->Part. Use the Add Library button in the
( Y y( W+ T$ {( ~9 u Place Part dialog box. Browse and open the COMPARATORS.olb file from where
7 F0 z# } `$ z% i it has been stored. All the devices in the library will be listed in the parts list. Select 4 K7 J2 n j+ k' j0 B& W, s% ^
the device to place it into the schematic.
^7 `. P# ^! V4. Before running the Pspice A/D simulation, .lib subcircuit files of the devices used from the 6 D! V8 ?5 J3 Z% u1 e
COMPARATORS symbol library should be included in the simulation profile of the
$ k& t) J! }) w/ s8 Q; \2 @ design. For including the subcircuit files use menu PSpice->Edit Simulation Profile. In the ; p* L( B2 S8 y3 P }5 P- E
simulation setting dialog box choose Configuration Files section. Select the library category, 4 s5 l' K5 ~$ _0 K p* E- p3 s8 l
browse for the subcircuit files, click Add to Design and Apply. Normal procedure for simulation
